I placed an order on June 23 for delivery June 24. The shopper substituted one of my items and the substitution was a poor choice and it also cost $16 more than the item I selected. I ordered Kirkland Beef Loin Top Sirloin Steak at a price of $40.88. The picture displayed 7 sirloin steaks. I received Kirkland Beef Sirloin which consisted of three HUGE steaks at a cost of $56.82. The shopper did not contact me about the substitution even though I had texted them I was available if they had any questions. Since I wasn’t contacted about the substitution and the meat I received did not match the picture, I would like a refund of $16 (the difference between what I expected to pay vs what I was charged).

I placed an order this morning with Costco and Mariano's for delivery this afternoon. Although I was notified that I would be given a refund; this is terrible Customer Service!!!! How do I know this? I'm a sole proprietor of a PC Repair business and a musician. The whole reason I signed up with Instacart was to save time with my busy schedule as my wife is no longer alive (passed in 2017). Now it appears I'm wasting valuable time! Your Customer Service should also let the Customer know why an order is canceled! The current way this is done is very rude!!!!

Missing item from today's order

My order today (5/30/29) was larger than usual. I was happy with the service, and the order arrived on time, but I soon noted and reported some missing birthday candles, and received a refund . I canceled before confirming the order since I did not realize I had chosen wrong credit card....still a hold was placed. Rep explained since I canceled it would not be a 5 to 7 day hold.

Misunderstanding

I've been deactivated. Some customers claim that I didn't deliver there goods. I never not one time didn't deliver them there food. I always did my best and I reached 5 star rating very quickly. I service with smile and I was always follow the guidelines. So I don't understand what happened to me.

Unable to use debit cards?!

Look... We understand you have competition... But, you lose a lot of clienteles when debit cards aren't accepted. I'm thoroughly disappointed in the company. I frequent the app, and my husband wanted to pay for the groceries. But, because of this change, we're unable to pay for the order? I want to understand, really I do, but I just don't get it. We do need food and it is too far, especially when the bus stopped coming to my location due to Covid-19. The only thing I can say is to please reconsider. People need you. Do what's right for them.

Lost order that Instacart ignored and did not credit or refund

I have been a customer with Instacart for 18 months now, and really appreciated their company, since I am a senior and having groceries delivered has been a great service for me. On March 31, 2020, I ordered groceries through them from Raleys, and the Shopper put them on the wrong doorstep in my apartment complex. I notified them immediately via e-mail under their "report a problem" section on my web-site. I notified them again on April 2, April 10, and again on April 26. At no time did they ever respond to my e-mails. I finally got a hold of them through both a phone call and a chat, and they informed me I was late in reporting it (even though I sent all those e-mails and my first one was minutes after it happened), and that they couldn't do anything for me. They could only adjust things within seven days, and it was too late to do that anymore. I might also mention their customer service and chat both are overseas, and not in the US. So, Instacart just ignores complaints, doesn't respond to any e-mails of problems, and they refuses to make it right because it is too late. A very unethical practice and a very irresponsible company. I will not do business with them anymore.
