Good morning... my name is Laurence maitland....

my number is (516) 426-**** and my email is tippyterrible@***.com.....Im a shopper who this past Saturday had10/17/2020.... had a problem customer who showed me on her app. That meat I had bought for her had cost $104.... perplexed I look at my receipt it cost only $24) showed her the package which confirmed that it was only $24.61)I assured her that maybe the app just needed to be refreshed or she would have to contact Instacart herself ....

she demanded I contact instacart and fix it for her .... I told her that I was unable to contact thru my app and it would be her that had to do it .... I told her also sorry I had another 20 minute drive to deliver one more order in this batch.... after dropping off my second order ....

it dawn on me thAt she maybe a problem ... I contacted instacart around 1 pm and told them the issue and without accusing because I didnt see... the receipt I had with her order .... I had placed on my car seat as I still in the process of delivering her order ....

after I completed my second order I realize that receipt was gone .... in the confusion I dont know what happened .... but to protect myself I communicated with customer service .... that was Saturday ....

on Sunday I realize my rating had dropped from 4.97 to 4.90.... I looked and this customer claim her meat was missing .... she had it in her hand .... she took it from me to see that she wasnt charged $104....

but $24.61 .... she lied she didnt get it and to compound she gave me a bad rating ..... since then its almost impossible to see orders ( sunday wasnt bad Monday 10/19/3020)and Tuesday so far is awful..... if i do see something its very low .....

it was so frustrating I went home and about to now .....this woman is wrong for lying and giving me a bad rating .... all because she wasnt happy with the app ..... she has taken food out of my mouth and it hurts .... if you look even this past Saturday ...

I had 2 customers so happy with my work the combined gave me an extra $28 tips on the app .... the lady that I delivered to after this first customer who lied on me .... came outside and gave me a extra tip for work well done .... I take my job seriously....

its my only job...... over the months I have corrected my mistakes as shopper ... I know Im one of the best out there .... I believe in what I do and I try to have people smiling at my work ....

this customer has derailed my hard work .... please Im not begging a hand out ...

I just would like someone to take the time to see that this act is wrong and correct it ... sincerely Laurence maitland
