Instacart - Charged me a membership fee without my consent
I used their delivery service one time. The service for that was fine.
However, 7 days later I discovered a $149 charge on my bank account. There was no indication that I was signing up for a free trial, to be charged later (like some streaming services - they have always made it clear that they will charge you after the trial). I believed I was placing ONE order. I complained via email and they gave me a link to cancel and get refunded.
It said that I would be refunded in 5 - 10 days. It is past 10 days and no refund yet.
They are blaming it on my bank.
I will update if I get the refund. I believe a class action will eventually be taken as this seems to be a common complaint.
