I have used Instacart several times and have been happy until yesterday. One item was just the wrong item, but I notified Instacart and they credited my account.
I was disappointed but I also understand this can happen, no problem. I had to throw out half of the apples because they were so badly bruised they were unusable.
I also had to throw out the yogurt because it was warm and I did not want to take a chance we would get sick from eating it. I did not ask for a credit because I have no way of proving the apples were unusable or the yogurt had not been kept at temperature controlled as Instacart promises.
Since I use this service for convenience and now I have to go to the store myself to replace these items (as well as the additional cost) it is no longer convenient.
