My instacart shopper accidentally left the paper receipt with me and the difference between instacart's "online prices" vs. "actual store prices" was a $45 markup on $130 worth of groceries.
When I called to complain, M.C. felt the need "educate" me on how it works. She did not offer to refund me, she only told me repeatedly that I was "uneducated" regarding instacart and that the shopper should not have left the receipt with me. Well the shopper did.
And the mark up is so excessive I consider it robbery. The description of the difference between the prices on their website made it seem like it would be slightly variable, not a 35% mark-up on everything.
