Instacart - I didn't receive my groceries
When delivery person called me to let me know she was at the front door, i said, "Okay, i am on my way. " open the door to no one.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt because i live in a large apartment complex. I called but it doesn't call the driver because she already set that they were delivered to me. I pressed 1 to talk to customer service. I was in hold for some time.
Representative came back and the driver told them i said to leave the groceries at my front door. NO. The call with this person somehow was dropped. I had to call in several times and got a new person.
I explained what happened. She gave me 2 options...1. Refund money and it will be 3 to 5 business days before it shows up or 2. Redeliver with free delivery.
I chose re-deliver. I have small kids and one is home sick. She proceeded to"help." She said there was an issue with my card and doing the new free delivery. So, here i am waiting for them to call me Back 2 hours after i was supposed to receive my groceries.
My account was charged the full amount. Someone received free groceries and I'm left frustrated.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Monetary Loss: $100.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
Instacart Cons: Unetichal customer service, Delivery drivers unethical.

Instacart only emailed me 1 time since this happened. Their trust and safety department isn't worried about my deactivated account, done by their own people in the midst of a *** delivery. I had to get my money back through my bank.
