I am an instacart shopper. Yesterday I picked up an order for Walgreens in Green Park which is close to my house.

The street given for delivery was the same zip code as the store 63123. There was no house number, I spent time checking with neighbors and no one heard of the house I was looking for. I messaged the customer who informed me that she was at a University that was over 11 miles from where I currently was. I took her the products even though it was quite a distance during rush hour.

I arrived on the campus and after waiting 15 minutes finally contacted her. She said she had contacted Instacart and I was to be compensated for all of the time and travel. I contacted instacart and "chatted" with Yash. It would be so much easier to actually speak to a person when you are having issues and driving.

After having to repeat the problem several times and waiting for answers Yash said I was entitled to $5. When I asked to be transferred to someone in management he or she did not respond and ended my text. This job should have taken 15 minutes if I had been given the correct information from Instacart, instead it took 1 hour 24 minutes and lots of driving. This is not the first time I have been given incorrect information from instacart and wasted time and essentially money.

If I was only compensated for the extra mileage, which I should be, that's $.60 a mile for 11 miles which is $6.60 not $5. I have been a good worker and am really starting to feel frustration with how this company takes care of their employees. I also feel I should be compensated for all the time it took which costs me money in the long run.

I await your answer and , if necessary, am ready to send a letter to the main headquarters in San Francisco. Thank you, Janet Perley
