My paper receipt says the total bill was $114.31. Instacart charged my debit card $159 for a difference of $45.

I called Instacart and was told they have contracts with certain retailers who'll charge higher prices for those using the Instacart website/service. Instacart wouldn't refund the difference or offer any type of credit since the 'higher price' difference is mentioned somewhere on their website. Of course, I've cancelled my free trial period and membership. Unacceptable.

I wish this worked differently as my shopper was very nice and it's a good concept. It's just not worth the annual membership fee plus the added contractual fees between the retailer and Instacart.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $45.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

$45 has shown on Instacart for Samโ€™s club membership. Samโ€™s claims to be unaware and Instacart takes no responsibility.

Same thing is happening to me! My order was two hours late, all my frozen stuff was thawed and wrecked, and I got over charged almost $20 than what was on the paper receipt. And they said "well I'll give you $5 credit." EXCUSE ME???

They took money from customer. That company have to be CLOSE inmediately..
