Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I'm not exactly sure how the problem was resolved but it was.

A short while after posting on pissedconsumer my comment got trolled. A bit suspect. I have a feeling it was from MapleBear Inc. The advertiser I was complaining about.

Because I received an email from possedconsumer that stated instacart did not read my complaint. Thank you Pissedconsumer for your platform because since posting, I have not heard that obnoxious ad one time

I have been so overwhelmed with obnoxiously loud Instacart commercials on my YouTube that I can't stand it anymore. I click block ad.

I've done it at least 20 times yet the same obnoxious commercial replays over and over. How did you like reading that? Now blast at full volume with an obnoxiously loud song behind it. It's so bad.

It makes me want to cancel my Instacart membership. Your advertiser is a complete jerk and disrespectful to your customers and you seriously need to have a conversation with those people. When your advertiser makes people hate your company, you might want to go elsewhere.

is the name of the offender. MapleBear Inc. Your advertiser is disgusting, disrespectful and really a bad look for Instacart. How many times do you think I should have to listen to that stupid commercial in a day?

40? Yeah, I really do want to cancel my membership because of MapleBear Inc.'s ad practices.

Your horror show advertiser. If I do that do the ads go away or do I have to cancel YouTube also?

My account deactivated

I just created a new account to work encouragedly, and everything was okay. I was waiting for a new car to perform, and once I got the car just the same day, my account was deactivated.

I was wondering why, and it says I have a couple of accounts on the platform, but before, I was a shopper like five years ago. The issue is that I had that account, and I went to the Dominican Republic on vacation and stayed there for four years. Then I forgot all the info to log in; I lost it all. So please, what I am requesting is if there is any form I can use to ACTIVATE my newly created and deactivated account back to work because I want to work.

I need to work.

I know how to WORK this job well, and I want it. Please, I will be waiting for a response regarding this.

No calls. No emails. There was 1 email right after I contacted them but they have done nothing since.

I ordered a product that was at a 1000 mg concentration. I paid for that product.

There is an invoice from Instacart for that product that shows I paid for a 1000 mg version of the product. What I received was the product at half the concentration I.e., only 500 mg. When I noted the discrepancy, I immediately contacted Instacart customer service, supplying them with pictures from their advertisement on Google as well as their receipt to me, both clearly showing I ordered and paid for a product of higher concentration. One week later, they have done nothing to rectify the situation.

I know I should have checked them out.

Hi. I accepted an order today.

It was worth $26. As I was starting my vehicle, it disappeared. I went to the help page and spoke with Specialist Landry. After explaining that orders have been going missing many times lately, he added $5 to my account.

I thanked him, and, indeed, the money was there. I closed the chat and gave him a 5-star review. Suddenly, that $5 was missing from my account. So, I started a new chat with Specialist Monika.

She informed me that I would receive the money tomorrow on my monthly top-up.

However, she didn't say goodbye, and as I was asking something, she left the chat. Please help.

I won a gift card for completing a survey and had to answer a math question, which I did, but heard nothing back. It's been almost a week of trying to get my winnings from them.

I keep getting the run around from support. I emailed the sweepstakes and got nothing back. Everything with this company is like pulling teeth and very stressful. The customer service is awful.

It seems only with Instacart do you win something and don't receive your winnings.

After I receive my $300, I will be closing my Instacart account and won't use them again. DoorDash, Uber, and Skip all provide grocery delivery in my area, so it's time to move on to more respectful and competent platforms.

The total disrespect and outright lies from customer service are surprising - I'm amazed Instacart is still operating. Management might want to get a hold of themselves before people stop using Instacart.

My overall experience is that all of their customer service agents were sending me in circles and giving me bad information. They kept telling me to log into the app to contact the correct customer service because they could not help me, but the issue was that I could not log into the app.

This meant I could not get to the correct customer service.

I am currently dealing with an executive escalation department. If they actually fix the issues then I will revise my review, but so far they have not done anything other than contact me.

I am contacting you through this email because I am having an issue that I can not get help with and NOBODY seems to be able to connect me to the correct person or department to solve the issue. PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO THE CORRECT DEPARTMENT SO I CAN GET HELP!!!

This has gone on for a week in circles with no help and I find it really had to believe that your company has such inept people working in it that someone can not connect me to the right person.
ISSUE:
I am trying to sign up as a full service shopper/delivery person for instacart, I signed up online. short form, by entering my name. email address and phone number and clicking submit. Then I scanned the qr code and downloaded the app.

The app had a login button. I clicked said log in button. It told me to input my phone number. I did.

I then clicked send. The app sent me a verification code. I input said verification code, and it told me that the "phone number or password is incorrect". Everything is absolutely correct.
THERE IS NOWHERE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT without getting past that login screen.
I contacted customer support through the regular support as if I was a consumer placing an order.

THAT customer support told me that they can not help me and that I needed to open the app and click the (?) icon or the headset icon in the upper left or right corner. THERE ISN"T ONE. I sent the rep screen shots showing that there is not either icon on any of the screens I can access and her answer is "well, I don't know what to tell you. that is how it is done.

we can't help you here".
Then, just to make sure that it was not a problem with the email or phone number because I initially used my google voice number, I created a different account, with my regular phone number and a different email address and I got exactly the same result.
I even contacted your customer service people at the phone number for senior help and THEY could not even provide a phone number, email address, or even the corporate address for me to send a letter snail mail to resolve this issue!!! What kind of company has customer support that doesn't provide contact information when something is NOT working like it should be working???

This is flat out ridiculous.
I would like to finish the process of setting up my account to be a full service shopper. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO THE APPROPRIATE HELP SERVICE AND HAVE THEM GET IN TOUCH WITH ME.

I placed only two orders with Instacart when my account ended up flagged The first order the driver got into an accident and my items that were to be in the fridge were out of the fridge for about three or more hours The second driver didnt make a real attempt to deliver, just one call and nothing more Finally, they asked me to fill out a form where instead of giving me back my money they placed a random order to my home I had already placed the order the same day as the issue happened as it was an emergency Now why would a company not contact the customer??? Why order a random order to the customer without knowing if they are home Its gets worse They cancel the random order and asked me to fill out the form again once again instead of giving me my money back Its now been about two or more weeks with them just giving me the runaround and now they claim they dont see any of the forms when they sent out a random replacement order and they just dont see the second form So now I will have to fill out a third but this time Ill be taking a screenshot because they lie like crazy to keep customers money I will never use this company ever again unless its a extremely serious situation and even then Id rather take other steps before hand Absolutely horrible customer service and a company as a whole as they dont train their drivers nor hold anyone else but the customer accountable I wont even work for them anymore as if this is the way they treat customers I want no parts in it. Like train your drivers or have a talk with them on what they should be doing SMH Even Uber aint this bad

I'm not someone that normally does reviews but since I had to go through my payment method to get the funds back I'll be leaving this here... It's sad how a lot of companies are treating customers especially after it's the customers that made them who they are...

Without customers there would be no businesses... Thus why people should get back to the old ways of learning whatever you can on your own..

In this case growing food and learning how to care for the body... Just sad cause my son badly needed the items as he had a burn but again a lot of businesses lack sympathy or heart when it comes to customers...

I am on a trial basis with Instacart. This is my second order.

I left specific delivery instructions with the order that I placed on Dec. 4 for grogeries from Wegmans on Peach Street in Erie, PA. Those instructions were very important. My husband is 76 and recovering from a stroke.

He has to use a cane for stability right now. I am 75 and have stress fractures in both feet. I can't get boots on. Right now Erie has about 3 feet of snow.

There is a path to our back door, and I left instructions to go through the driveway, up 2 steps, and to follow the walkway in order to leave the groceries at our BACK door. Your shopper left everything at our front door instead. This has caused us a huge problem. My husband tried to get the packages, but could only carry one at a time because he needs his cane.

He had to navigate a driveway entrance that had been recently plowed in, an icy street, and an icy front entrance. We couldnt open our front door because it is frozen shut. After his first attempt, I tried a chat with Instacart to see if you could send someone to get our groceries to the back door. First the chat person seemed to accuse me of not making my instructions clear enough.

They were clear and succinct and to be any clearer i would have had to draw a map. Your shopper just blew them off. I was unaware that she was arriving because my husband misplaced the mobile phone (we only have one), and when found it was in desperate need of a recharge. In the mean time, i kept checking the back door to see if my order was delivered.

I was on a chat for almost 2 hours with no satisfactory resolutions, just apologies. I had no one else to call by that time because it was too late. Because I was afraid that my groceries would freeze, I tried some local resources, finally calling the Erie police. Thankfully, they responded very nicely after explaining our predicament and sent someone to help us.

Its utterly ridiculous that Instacart is unable to send another shopper to a house in order to rectify a delivery problem. Normally I do my own shopping, but because we are in a snow disaster situation, we havent moved our car since Thanksgiving day. Thats why I started the 2 week trial with Instacart. If that's how you define customer service, you need to reexamine your mission.

You are a service business that doesn't always seem to know how to provide service. If I didnt need your help, I never would have signed on.

If you can't rectify a delivery problem, then you need to reevaluate your processes. I will not recommend your "delivery" service to anyone that I know, thats for sure.

Instacart needs to address this once and for all, and provide: (1) answers as to why my account remains locked, despite having reported no unauthorized activity, and (2) an explanation as to why I have had to call and report and hold and discuss and argue 4 times since DEC 2024, with a promise of a call back within 2 days each time, only to receive no call or email (3) a refund of the additional fees paid in connection with having to use an alternate temporary Instacart account rather than my existing membership account which carries all the fee savings and store discounts where I have registered store loyalty accounts, and (4) an apology from Instacart for relentlessly harassing me with the insulting nuisance requests and ongoing campaigning that I activate a new (second!) annual membership in connection with the temporary account I have been using since DEC.2024 while I await reactivation of my EXISTING fully paid up annual membership which remains LOCKED, and to which I am being denied access despite its being paid up in full in advance!, and (5) Instacart extend the duration of my existing membership term to reconcile the block of time I have been without access despite the period having already been paid for.

I have spoken with Cust Service four times since DEC.4 2024, and each time I am promised that I will receive a call from some senior supervisor to whom my issue was escalated.
Nothing. Nothing.

Nothing. Nothing. I pay an annual fee outright every year since 2017, and at present I have been denied access to my account without explanation, and despite having sent requested documentation substantiating my identity...which itself is VERY ODD, considering I have had a membership fully paid up in advance every year since 2017.
Who the *** do they think I am at this point? My next stop is the attorney general consumer affairs office in DC.

I have also just finished my compliant which will be filed with the FTC by the end of the week.

Instacart has wasted my time, denied me service, and most importantly, has breached their contract with me.
Good luck Instacart...you will need it at this point!

I have countless times placed orders with this bogus business...and 15+ times I've not gotten my order. They cancel without consent.

They change the delivery window time even if pay extra for it. They don't fix the issues only try and bribe people with a bs credit that does absolutely nothing!

I just now placed an order and it sits in limbo as usual. No one "claiming" it. And they just keep cycling through and canceling or postponing.

No one wants to work anymore ?, then don't hire lazy people.

Don't have a company that cannot provide its sole purpose which is providing food and such to consumers.

There were times I was solely reliant on this service and had to go without because they just do not care about their customers at all!!!

When you call they're rude and don't bother to even speak English. They do nothing much like the shoppers apparently.

People like you ether do not put a amount in the tip field, or live so far off in the bundocks. I have used instacart and leave the tip section to default amount.

I have only had problems with 1 order.

They subed something that wasa not on sale costing me $20. They made it right.

I’ve had good luck with them. But I get two large orders a month and tip 25%.

My usual guy said a lot of people only tip $5 no matter if the order is $50 or $200. He said most ignore or cancel if the order has cases of water, 12/24 can packs of soft drinks or gigantic bags of dog food if tip under 15%.

I used to never have an issue then all of the sudden it was order after order nothing but issues and cancels or reschedule. No updates no information nothing. I tip well and don't order things that are "heavy".

My friends only son was killed in an accident. I wanted to send food and supplies to the home for when the family came.

Ordered a meat and cheese platter along with buns and everthing to go with it. Specifically asked in the notes to make sure they were home befor delivery, even communicated with driver. He left it on the front porch in 95 degree weather while they were not home and it spoiled. Was told by instacart how sorry they were and that I would get a refund, that they couldn't just redeliver.

So I ordered it again, paying the fee and delivery again. Was delivered properly.

Never got the refund and they are fighting me about it. As far as I am concerned any company that would do that does nor deserve a rating and everyone should know for using them what they could be getting into.

Who was told to call you guys to cancel dispatch and it's not working on my Instacart account by pushing the headphones

Unfortunately, I could not proceed with the delivery, because it did not show that it was in Wisconsin Dells until after I did the batch. It led me to believe that it was in the forest.

I have bad brakes and rotors; I would never have been able to make it out that far. I reached out to the customer and informed them of the situation, but they didn't answer the phone. I also texted them and left a message. Consequently, I called and asked them to cancel the batch, but received no reply.

I cannot reach out to you guys on customer service because it's not working when I tap on it.

I did return the items back to the store and got their refund back on the card. I just need someone to cancel this for me and please don't let it lower my percentage due to canceling.

They blocked my account to verify my identity

I wanted to order some groceries from Costco as I know the products and have been a member for several years. So, I put everything in the cart and hit the 'order' button - hey, did you think it would be this easy?

Despite being a member with an account in good standing and having sent an email verification code? But no! The order was cancelled. They asked for a government ID with a photo and a CC photo.

How stupid can this be in the digital and AI era, with cell phones and QR codes? Gee, ask me to call you on FaceTime, it will be quicker and I will get my order the same day, as advertised!

These people have never heard that unsatisfied clients will not come back for business with them... well, they are about to!

I’ve never had trouble with Instacart nor had to provide ID. That probably is a Costco rule since a membership is required.

Also, you should leave the “loss” field blank. You did not have money taken from you.

Ordered food from Instacart through the restaurant section in association with Uber Eats. The driver is delivering religious books from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church along with the order.

I find this unacceptable and annoying.

Does Instacart and/or Uber Eats *** this behavior? I will need to reconsider using these services if they do.

They stole my money!

I had started to create a budget for myself by buying grocery gift cards every month to properly manage my money. I bought a $100 Instacart gift card, which allowed me to upload the card information to my account.

However, when I went to place my order, it said my account was on hold until I could show proof of being the card holder for my previous first purchase that they denied. That purchase was attempted the year before and I no longer had that card. I've tried calling customer service, but they refuse to help me and continue to just hang up on me.

They essentially stole my $100. They are crooks and no amount of convenience is worth taking the risk on their poor business practices.

Stolen Order by Driver

The driver called and stated he was 7 miles away from my home when the GPS showed that he was arriving to my home. The driver also said Uber gave him the wrong address and he was 7 miles away.

Instead, he said he was going to call customer support. He hung up mark the order as complete and then put in that he was unable to reach me. When I spoke to customer service, they told me that he followed the right protocol.

Even though I explained to them the situation they were not trying to look into it. Any further, not that have they rectified my case yet?
