Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I'm not exactly sure how the problem was resolved but it was.
A short while after posting on pissedconsumer my comment got trolled. A bit suspect. I have a feeling it was from MapleBear Inc. The advertiser I was complaining about.
Because I received an email from possedconsumer that stated instacart did not read my complaint. Thank you Pissedconsumer for your platform because since posting, I have not heard that obnoxious ad one time
I have been so overwhelmed with obnoxiously loud Instacart commercials on my YouTube that I can't stand it anymore. I click block ad.
I've done it at least 20 times yet the same obnoxious commercial replays over and over. How did you like reading that? Now blast at full volume with an obnoxiously loud song behind it. It's so bad.
It makes me want to cancel my Instacart membership. Your advertiser is a complete jerk and disrespectful to your customers and you seriously need to have a conversation with those people. When your advertiser makes people hate your company, you might want to go elsewhere.

is the name of the offender. MapleBear Inc. Your advertiser is disgusting, disrespectful and really a bad look for Instacart. How many times do you think I should have to listen to that stupid commercial in a day?

Shopper canceled my order because i asked for substitute
Some of the shoppers are good at their craft, but others dont have a good work ethic and dont use the chat to inform their customers of outages nor do they read the replacement information. Sometimes they deliver the wrong items.
Some will cancel orders if you ask them questions about your order. Some Instacart representatives will place you on hold indefinitely or hang up on you and not call back.

As with all gig delivery platforms, these companies continue to set up orders negligently with customers in a manner detrimental to the service provider's end and the customer. Just like a pizza place, a person should be compensated by each customer with a minimum $12 delivery fee for any order in a 10-mile radius for pick-up and delivery.
An extra bump of $10 to the driver for every 10 miles over the 10-mile radius. They fail to provide this. Liability for quality control and refrigeration should fall on the platform, primarily due to engagements in obvious negligent lack of disclosure of all required parameters related to potential turnaround times required for food pick-up and delivery time safety to any independent contractor driver before acceptance of any batch. A driver needs to know: 1.
Turnaround time for each and every customer expected and negotiated. 2. Total perishables included in each customer order individually. 3.
That a minimum of $12 will be guaranteed to drivers before other current order compensation structures are calculated for every separate customer order individually, especially when bundled along with a $10 minimum bundle processing fee for the driver in multi-batch bundling when food safety can be realistically maintained and understood by all customers party to multi-batch bundling. These companies fail to disclose to customers that in current multi-batch bundling practices, greater risk for spoilage exists due to increased vulnerability to weather, store outages, and traffic, etc., and that it is recommended that 1 driver per 1 order is best recommended. They engage in false advertising that fails to represent Instacart, for example, as more expensive and a convenience service only, not designed to be a discount service. Recently, Instacart in particular sent out an email demand to all its independent contractors of a new contract without discussion, putting further liability on its drivers who have no say in routing practices, turnaround times negotiated, or perishable quality control in multi-batch bundling, not to mention no intention to provide drivers with additional compensation required for this unfair transfer of liability.
The platforms continue to try to insulate legally from their due liability obligations to both consumer and driver as the order generating and composition entity. We definitely need legislation to fix this. Otherwise, lots of innocent individuals will take the fall for platform negligence practices. Instacart is currently denying shoppers access to discuss modifications to an agreement for service for adequate understanding, with an electronic signature or bump of platform deadline.
I have made every attempt to contact a real person, so I am providing evidence of signing under duress and temporary changes of delivery policy on my end to protect my business exposure. This may result in being forced off the platform.

I've chatted with multiple representatives. One of the last one being a chat representatives, which told me he'd process the redelivery just for me to receive an email the next day saying they couldn't.
So I called support, was put on hold for 20 minutes for a supervisor just to be told a supervisor will call me back. Waited hours and nothing so I called again just for the agent to tell me I cannot speak to a supervisor that I have to wait on the outcome of the appeal I submitted which I'm sure will be denied AGAIN
She accidentally switched our orders, and I received a completely different order, none of which I ordered. I took pictures and a screenshot of messages that I sent to the shopper 3 minutes after delivery. I provided both to support, in which they said they'd do a redelivery, just for me to receive an email an hour later saying I'm not eligible for a redelivery or credits.
Attached, you will find a picture of what I received and the screenshot of me messaging the shopper 3 minutes later. I'm contacting the Consumer Protection Agency.

Terrible
I returned an item to the store and provided receipts to Instacart customer service almost 2 weeks ago. I still have not received my refund.
The item was over $200 and went back to the shopper's credit card. I was told by the store the item was purchased from that the shopper used their own credit card and a store gift card, pocketing the difference of what I was charged.
Numerous calls and emails with customer service, and I get the runaround: 'Oh, I escalated this' or 'You'll get an email within 48 hours,' and then no email will be received. Very disappointing.

As delivery driver, falsely reported as ‘missing items’ Instacart account being threatened
Business is getting threatened due to customers falsely reporting an order as missing or incorrectly delivered, address is huge and theyre claiming that it wasnt delivered.
You customers need to stop this garbage!!! Youre the reason why the backbone of the company might fall apart one day.

I was working for instacart. I went shopping for 75 items and took me damn near all day at the end of it I went to pay for it their card didn't work so after four times of me trying to get this card to work. I wound up paying for it myself so I wouldn't lose the money for a shopping all that time they later told me that it would take 7 to 10 days to even get my money back and now they're not answering me they're not even bothering it pick up the phone or nothing they're not emailing me or nothing they won't reimburse my money nor will they pay me for the work that I did I need I want to be reimbursed j and I want a little bit for pain and suffering for every day that I have to wait this is the worst company in the world

Still have not heard a thing from instacart. So I did what I said and found elsewhere to go.
I am now with Doordash and believer me 1000% better than instacart could ever think of being!!! I highly recommend Doordash!!
I was missing items, My milk was spoiled, and my cantaloupe was so bruised that I could barely get anything out of it that was salvageable. But they don't think that that's enough to have to either replace anything or give it any kind of refund. I'm so very disappointed in them I thought way more and way better of them until this incident. Also they told me that I need to update my settings so that if the driver can't find one of my items that they can replace it.
Okay that's fine, but what about my *** that's missing and I'm still paying for?
Hmm doesn't make a lot of sense no does it? Shame on you instacart shame on you.

No calls. No emails. There was 1 email right after I contacted them but they have done nothing since.
There is an invoice from Instacart for that product that shows I paid for a 1000 mg version of the product. What I received was the product at half the concentration I.e., only 500 mg. When I noted the discrepancy, I immediately contacted Instacart customer service, supplying them with pictures from their advertisement on Google as well as their receipt to me, both clearly showing I ordered and paid for a product of higher concentration. One week later, they have done nothing to rectify the situation.
I know I should have checked them out.

Hi. I accepted an order today.
It was worth $26. As I was starting my vehicle, it disappeared. I went to the help page and spoke with Specialist Landry. After explaining that orders have been going missing many times lately, he added $5 to my account.
I thanked him, and, indeed, the money was there. I closed the chat and gave him a 5-star review. Suddenly, that $5 was missing from my account. So, I started a new chat with Specialist Monika.
She informed me that I would receive the money tomorrow on my monthly top-up.
However, she didn't say goodbye, and as I was asking something, she left the chat. Please help.

Extremely unhelpful and useless. Everyone I "spoke" with said LITERALLY word for word the exact same thing..
they're just robo scripted. How annoying.
But whatever, lesson learned. Thought grocery delivery would be convenient and stress free, but instacart has proven otherwise...
The chatbot steadily says that a shopper is on my order now, but again its past 8pm going on fay 2 and the store I believe closes at 9, so I am giving is another wasted hour but then going to cancel the order. Will keep you guys posted.
. BECAUSE they didn't want me to cancel my order. Wtf. Now its been rescheduled AGAIN.
And supposed to be here by 7:55 but its currently 7:48 so again they lied. I am pissed and that is terrible service and this is exactly why I won't pay for instacart plus. The only thing that one of the 4 people I spoke with offered was free delivery on my NEXT order? No thanks.
There won't be a next order. I Am more than frustrated right now and trying real hard to keep it together ,. Hey instacart, if you don't have anyone that wants to come out to my area then PLEASE remove your services and ads from this area!!!
I've used Uber and even DoorDash and had a few issues here and there but instacart has been nothing but lies and bs since I tried them. Unfortunately instacart is the only delivery service available in my rural area, but they are definitely not worth the trouble that comes with attempting to use them.
