I didn't complain about the 5.5 hour delivery time when 2 hrs was promised. But when costly carrot cake was delivered totally destroyed, the driver shrugged - offered no resolution.

Called in a complaint: told to go online. Did online detailed complaint: submit button did not work on two occasions! My issues are poor service and even worse platform for registering info requesting problem resolution. I hope Instacart provides a refund for the cake.

I'd love the pre-paid $9.45 tip back due to poor driver concern. Instacart also does not deserve to keep the additional mandatory platform-improvement charge of $9.45 since they are obviously not re-investing to make their platform user-friendly for filing complaints. I want an apology. And a next order fee-free would be tge right thing to do.

From now on, I will tip drivers in cash only. I will tip well for good service.

Instacart is the sleaziest company I've ever dealt with. They treat their contractors like *** lie and cheat them every chance they get and could care less about the customers who use the service.

It is all about exploiting them both, Instacart Contractors and Instacart Customers to see how much money they can shake them both down for. They use tips to pay driver wages and then tell drivers the customer didn't leave a tip. This is just one example of hundreds of unscrupulous practices Instacart KNOWINGLY and INTENTIONALLY put into play just to see how long they could get away with it and how much revenue they could make until public outcry forces them to stop. They are quick to issue a public apology and pretend they "meant no harm & simply got it wrong " but any corrective measure promised always have more sleazy loop holes and are short lived.

They don't care about offering a service that is actually QUALITY for example if customers are in an area where the stores Instacart deal with are to far away from their homes then Instacart draw invisible service area lines and wont allow certain customers access to shop at certain locations simply so they wont have to pay mileage costs to drivers. The contract they have with drivers states they can change the terms at any time and so they do on a weekly basis just to see how long they can get away with the current cheat method at any given time. Its sad but nontheless true. Independent contractors are supposed to have some control over how they are completing the work they do and INSTACART gives them NO CONTROL and penalizes drivers at every turn.

The longer you work for the company the less you make and Instacart doesn't care how many drivers quit or how often they quit because they are recruiting new contractors 24/7 ...its all about profit and zero about customer service or satisfaction or retention. Their motive is maintaining profit margins and they have no reservations about taking advantage of vulnerable workers & unsuspecting customers utilizing the service.
